Applying for Veterans Benefits

When you apply for a medical service-connected benefit, you are evaluated by two different sub-agencies of the VA:

  • The Veterans Benefits Administration (to determine if you are entitled to compensation)

  • The Veterans Health Administration (to determine if you are entitled to health care)

You may be entitled to service-connected health care even though you are denied compensation. Every Veteran is encouraged to enroll in the VA Medical System
