Buy A Brick Fundraiser

There are all types of heroes in this world who every day are doing honorable deeds for others and risking their

lives to protect and save us from harm. The firefighter, emergency worker, police, doctors, nurses, neighbors, and

citizens reaching out to help one another. We need to respect and honor all the heroes who give so much of

themselves and ask for nothing in return.

Every hero has a story to tell that leaves lasting memories to remind us of the sacrifices they have made. The

simple things that bring back these memories, such as a single coin left on a headstone. It lets the deceased

family know that somebody stopped by to “pay” their respects. It sparks curiosity not only about the deceased…

but who left the coins? Standing at the honor wall and reminiscing keeps those stories alive … keeps those named

in highest esteem. Pair that with all hero’s, one brick at a time, and we have an “honor wall.”

The George Beach Post #4, American Legion Auxiliary is sponsoring a Buy a Brick- Build a Wall Fundraiser to

honor all heroes, no matter what organization they come from. It may be your neighbor, friend, family member,

military, non-military, active or retired, deceased, and still with us today.

This is an opportunity for you to recognize and thank a hero who has impacted your life and is always there

when you need them most. Please consider helping to build this living honor wall. Bricks are available in 8x8

and 4x4 tiles. Submit an email to the American Legion Post #4 Auxiliary and we will send you the information.
